How do I make an appointment?
Just call to make an appointment and we will try to find an appropriate time. Voice messages are checked through out the day so please fell free to leave us a message and we will get in tough as soon as possible
Will I have to wait long to be seen?
We will try our best to fit you in as soon as possibly and so will get in touch if any cancellations should arise. Out aim is to see you within a couple of working days maximum.
What times do your physios work?
We are open from 9 till 6.30pm or 7pm some nights. Times are dependent on bookings.
Do you have a female physio?
Yes we have a female physio who is aware of many different cultural needs
Do I need to see my GP?
No that is not necessary, you can fill out an ACC form in clinic. If, after the initial consultation, we think you need to see your GP because there is an additional medical problem we will refer you back to your primary care.
What do I need to bring?
If you have a referral please bring this in, any x-rays or previous medical notes that pertains to your current history. Appropriate clothing i.e shorts if its a lower limb injury or a singlet if your shoulder is getting seen to.
How many treatments will I need?
This is entirely dependent on your injury and your body. Some injuries take longer to heal than others, the severity of the injury plays into this as well. Following the initial consultation the physio will be able to give your a better time line.
What if I hurt myself at work?
That is absolutely fine you can still visit us if you have had a work injury. We work together with you, your work and occupational therapists to make sure your transition is as comfortable and seamless as possible.
